AV_Mourvedre_2014_Front

Cancel your plans this weekend and head down to the winery for the much-anticipated release of our 2014 Mourvèdre!

Enjoy $3 off each bottle and $1 off each glass starting Friday, July 8! But hurry, because this offer ends on Sunday July 10.

This medium-bodied wine has a bright acidity that makes it a great food wine. It has peppery aromas with hints of dark fruits. Flavors of blackberry and plum greet your palate, leading into spicy notes and soft tannins on the finish. We aged it for one year in Missouri oak barrels.

A grape that was originally named after a Spanish town, the word “Mourvèdre” is of French derivation and is pronounced “more-ved-druh” by most English speakers. It is often used as a blending grape and is the “M” in the popular “GSM” blend. However, we love it so much we decided to do a 100% Mourvèdre!
